I was able to meet Markus at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt and he showed me the Bandstand update. It's great fast loading. Stay tuned with Bandstand, it will be an amazing product.

Any word on Intel Mac compatibility?

 

Actually I would like some updated info on this too if you have any?

I am interested in:
when? and I know it says second quarter but what does this actually mean?
what form? will the Universal BS address both cores?

Hi all,

Mac Intel is coming in Q2 for Kontakt and in early Q3 for products based on Kontakt like Bandstand and AP.

what do you mean with "both cores"?

I suppose I meant dual processors?

 

dual processor enhancements are already part of Kontakt 2.1. if I am not mistaken, we will need to update Bandstand to the Kontakt 2.1 code base anyways for Mac Intel in which case you will get the new enhancments as well!
