How is update 1.27?

hey guys . can anyone who has 1.27 up and running can give any insight on the upgrade. i have my laptop in the shop for now, its been over a month. so i'll have to wait to upgrade. how does it look. does it look like S4. is it running smooth. is the interface any different. cant wait. i would greatly appreciate any pics . thanx

 

No major changes. Looks and feels like 1.2.6. Mainly just bug fixes.

 

+1 nothing really has changed apart from the fixes. Works great so far :-D

 

Just upgraded to 1.2.7

I just upgraded and everything seemed fine when I first opened Traktor up. Analyzed and beat gridded a few files, then closed it while I went to run some errands.

Came back, opened Traktor again, went to analyze and beat grid some more files; but when beat grid-ding some files, the audio sounded really muffled and distorted. Tried another file and got the same thing. Tried a couple of other files and got the same thing.

So I shut Traktor down and rebooted my machine. But when I closed Traktor, Windows notified me that Traktor was not operating correctly and that Windows was looking for a solution on-line. But never found one. So Traktor finally closed. Once rebooted, I went to open Traktor and received a message from Windows that Traktor had a major crash. So now, I can't even open Traktor.

How do I revert back to 1.2.6 while I figure out what is going on? Do I need to do a complete uninstall/re-install?

Can't you just redownload 1.2.6 and uninstall 1.2.7?

 

i dont get it. did i miss something thought we getting this big upgrade with S4 features.
i guess maybe santi claus is is bringing it.

 

I just looked here http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122500 to see what they have included in 1.2.7 and it never said that they will have S4 features.

 

I doubt any S4 features will be included till mid next year.

 

Are you playing tracks and analysing at the same time? This is not advisable.

Did you get a Crash Log?
The 1.2.7 update should work fine.

You should file this with support and attach the crash log.

Yup. That's what I ended up doing and everything is fine now. Go figure.

No. I don't play the track while analyzing. But good tip for those that may be doing that.

I did put this same entry in the tech issues area, but forgot to attach the crash log. Doing that now. Again thanx!


Maybe if enough people have the same issues, N.I. will make some changes in 1.2.8, whenever that will be released.

 

Just done a 10 hour set and a 6 hour radio show no probs here and just the same as 1.2.6 without the bugs i never noticed still use my sp404 for sampling

 

Scrap That im still on 1.2.6 sorry for the misleading info i downloaded the 1.2.7 update but did not run it had a Really busy weekend which started thursday no wonder but have run the 1.2.7 this morning which gives me until thursday to play around and if anything i will revert back to 1.2.6 if any probs arrive as i know have 1.2.6 and 1.2.7 sitting pretty on my desktop.
