How many D2s off one power supply?

How many D2s can you power off one supply?

Each unit comes with a splitter for the power supply, so can you keep splitting the supply to power 4 units from the one plug socket?

If yes you can power 4... out of sheer curiosity whats the maximum number of units from one plug, anyone know?

Why would you wish to power more than 2?
The Traktor software cannot control more than two anyway....

just looked in the manual and you're right;

The TRAKTOR software currently supports up to two TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 units. If you
connect more than two D2 units to your computer, only two of them will be available in
TRAKTOR.

 

I'd like more than 2 so that I can have access to 3 or 4 decks worth of screens and 8 hot-cues per deck all of the time as I normally mix with 3 decks but do not use remix decks much at all.

I know that an S8 and a pair of these would give me what I want but I like to use external mixers as I have a few to choose from already and it's much easier in clubs to not have to find space for the S8, it is easy to move decks or CDJ's.

 

Eventually, they may unlock the ability to use 4 simultaneously. Might be a year or two before that happens, though, and I imagine that Stems may play a part in that along with something like a Z4 being released.
