    G'day,
I'm running Kore 1.1 on SX3. I'm trying to run approx. 7 instances of Battery 3 for drum kits. I've allocated the right midi and audio channels for each instance, but no audio.
Kore (and each Battery instance) itself is receiving midi correctly, and I have had one instance working correctly before (by itself though).
Is it that Kore can't handle this many instances of the same type of plugin?

Any thoughts or any one who has succeeded in the above, please help.

I have a screen shot attached
Sorry, but I had to cut/chop and stuff, to get it under the 100kb limit. A bit to small for pic's, me thinks.
Maybe the forum can up this

    G5 D1.8, OS X 10.4.9, SX3.1.1 build 944, Kore 1.1, Hard & Software synths

If I remember correctly, when using Kore as a plugin inside a host, you are limited to one plugin per instance. If you are running 7 instances of Battery for individual drums, this might eat up 7 tracks, each with one instance of kore loading one instance of Battery for 7 separate drum tracks. In order to run more than one plugin inside Kore, I think it must be used in stand alone mode and triggered via MIDI like any other synth. I could be way off here but that is what I remember reading. Does SX3 support multiple outs of virtual instruments? If so, you might be able to load one instance of Kore running Battery and assign the outs of battery to multiple SX3 channels for multi-tracking and individual processing.

If my info is correct, hope it helps...If not...we never had this conversation...

if i may, why do you need that many instance of battery?

in one you can have all your different drums..

i would be very interested to have this explain, just for interest.

    many thank's :)

You never had the conversation. You're only allowed one SOUND per instance. However, the sound can contain as many plugins as you wish. This came about with the 1.1 update.

However, in plugin mode, you only have one stereo out for the KORE plugin. Is that what's the issue?

    Well,
Basically I would like to be able to automate groups of percussions seperately and with the use of live functionality.
