I have used iTunes to manage my music collection for years and it is a very simple program to use. For me, it is the simplest solution. Serato Scratch Live does a great job integrating with iTunes, and I use both SSL and TSP, depending on the situation, and using iTunes to manage my playlists (love smart playlists BTW) would mean that I have the same organization/playlists in both, which is ideal, even if I don't use some folders in one program or the other.

    I use iTunes primarily!

I used to use WinAmp and MediaMonkey, but I switched to iTunes in TP1. I wish I switched back in Traktor DJ Studio 2.5, I would've saved a lot of headache! My main complaint (and it's a big one) is that I use MixedInKey, and in neither in iTunes nor Traktor can I see my track keys. I hate that I have to import to see this collection every gig. I spent MONTHS organizing my playlists in iTunes, but I need to see my keys to help with my sets!

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS! I need Key support!

+1 for itunes. I'm getting fed up of duplicating things and find I often update my playlists in Traktor and forget to do so in itunes, and visa versa. proper integration would be great.

Itunes lack of suppport on the key field has nothing to do with Traktor. Thr field is viewable within traktor and if you wish to integrate the two then you can set up MIK to add the key to other fields such as the comments field.

In my opinion iTunes is one of the worst Audio Players out there. It lacks so many essential features like Watch Folders or simply writing the rating into id3 tags. Besides that, it you want to backup and restore your collection + iTunes Library, the file need to be saved at the same location. No relative path names. I simply cannot synch my mp3s between 2 PCs because of this and the lacking watch folders. Sure you can let itunes handle all the file saving but i want to organize my mp3s on my hdd like i want to. Its like handling out some else the duty of ordering your vinyl collection. I cant believe someone would do that.

    And last but not least:
The performance and memory consumption is unbearable. I have about 110gb of mp3s and itunes is so god damn slow. It takes ages to load, search and play. Any other Audio Player can handle my collection almost instant while using less memory than itunes.

And Smart Playlists is a feature almost every Audio Player nowadays has.

The only feature itunes has is proper iphone integration. And thats why i will switch to Android as soon as i can.
