I agree. It would be nice to hear something about an update. The silence is just building resentment among its customers . I have all the other important dj apps. They seem to be updating theirs all the time. It's only a matter of time before they offer something just as good. If there's a 'super' update coming like Djay did then tell us about it .

So sick of the drop outs. This is totally unacceptable especially when there are other DJ apps thar perform well.

I've never had dropouts. What ipad are you using? And have you tried doing a full reset on your ipad, i.e. backing up, putting it in DFU mode, plugging into itunes and doing FULL reinstall with latest software version, then sync with backup.

I did this recently with my iphone (usually I update over the air). The difference was increase in speed & double battery life after full reinstall.

I'm using the last iPad before they adopted the lightning connectors. I haven't done a full reset reinstall because last time I did that it didn't save any of my cue points and I have 500 some songs in there and I'm not looking forward to spending 2 days putting them all back. Is there a trick to saving the cue points somehow that I'm missing?

@robotsound - you could try an application like iExplorer to go into TraktorDJ.app and save out the correct .xmls and then dump them back in after upgrading... This is NOT recommended by NI but if you feel adventurous please have at it! The worst thing that could happen is that you lose your cue points and you'll have to reinstall and start from scratch again.

@ robotsound, how have you put your tunes into traktor DJ? are they set as playlists in itunes?
If so (which is same as mine), then I have just done a full wipe & restore of my ipad and the cue points are still there. I will go through what I did.

    1. Start itunes on the computer where you music is & is linked to itunes.

    2. plug in your ipad

    3. sync/backup your ipad.

    4. keep itunes open with your ipad plugged into the computer & put your ipad into DFU mode.
To do this you need to hold down the button on the front & power button on the top together for about 9sec, then release only the power button on the top for another 9sec, then release the front button.
Your itunes should then give a message saying it has found an ipad in recovery mode.
(Search the net if on how to put your ipad in DFU mode if you didn't succeed)

    5. Click to restore ipad. Download latest software & let it do it's restore.

    6. After restore login to activate your ipad if asked.

    7. Restore from the backup you did earlier (at part 3)

    8. After it has restored you may get a message about some apps not being installed correctly. Expand the list & reinstall those apps.

    Then you are done.
