I haven't seen this anywhere, but my Audio10 & X1 are taking up all mu onboard ports. Does this thing have a built in hub? I was pretty pissed to find out I needed a power adapter for the Audio10 if I need a powered usb hub too, its a dealbreaker....

the F1 controller doesn't have an inbuilt USB Hub. Just like your X1 it needs one free USB port to connect to your computer.

I was able to connect an X1 and some other USB hardware via a passive USB port to my Laptop. No "real-world" situations I had to survive with this so I can't tell you if it will last all night long without problems. But in theory, a passive USB hub should do the trick for you.

Anyone else have experience with passive USB hubs and controllers?

yes, few more would be nice but it is not necessary...if you can use hubs as well...
