Am I missing something here? I notice there are only, essentially 4 rotary controls and six buttons. How do you use this as a control surface? The bare minimum would be 7 rotary controls, one as a crossfader, and six for bass, mid and treble on the two decks being mixed. As far as I can tell, that's the minimum. The manner in which Native Instruments suggests you use Audio Kontrol 1 to control Traktor is just crazy, why would you want to fiddle with 'master control volume' and 'fine pitch' when you've got bigger fish to fry.
    Or am I missing something?

Theres only 3 buttons and the big knob in the middle thats actu programmable!
Ive had this 2 months and played out with it quite alot,

ive made my own template for the control surface,
and i use an external mixer,
the control surface only acts for me as start, stop, pitch bend and increase/decrease pitch.

I guess you need another controller. I as hoping to use this product to control Traktor 2 (I don't actually like Version 3). I need something slick looking if I'm going to get a MacBook & my original X-Session is looking very 'PC'. NI shouldn't claim this product is capable of controlling Traktor on it's own, which quite clearly it can't.
What I meant when I said it has 4 rotary controllers is that that is how many controls you get once you use the modifier mode.
