How To Assign A Razor Knob To A MIDI CC in Cubase?

How do I assign a knob in Razor directly to CC7? I don't have a hardware controller linked to that. I just want to teach the Razor volume knob to respond to CC7 so I can draw in automation in Cubase. The end of the PDF only seems to cover hardware assignments.

I tried using the MIDI/Osc Learn with my Expression Pedal (CC11) and it -sorta- works, but frankly the Razor volume knob seems to randomly go -crazy-... like it's reacting to events other than CC11.

    Suggestions?

Yeah MIDI learn is the way to go.

Well, it doesn't work all that great for -me- in Cubase. Or perhaps I'm trying to automate the wrong knob. I want to be able to fade the volume up/down via CC7. Is the 'Output' knob the way to go or is there another master volume knob somewhere?

Or is there a better way to do this at a lower level (in the Ensemble?)

Output knob is what you want, very likely. You can see all the MIDI assignments (and remove wrong ones if they exist) in the MIDI-Controllers tab in the browser (press F7). From what I can tell, MIDI learning works just fine here.
