So how do you guys beatgrid dubstep songs? All my music is bought from beatport and some of the dubstep songs on beatport say they are 140 bpm. Reckordbox also says 140bpm but when I analyze some of the songs they say 70 bpm or 110 bpm when I know it should be 140 bpm. Do you guys change the bpm or just leave it at what traktor says?

You are the captain of your grids.

I would set my bpm to be useful when syncing.
If I bought a really slow track like 65bpm, I'd probably fix it to 130 bpm in case I might want to mix with my other tracks that are mostly around that speed.

thats the point, there is a comon error that traktors detects half or double bpms.

too feel confortable you can use the TAP button to adjust the grid according to your rythm feeling.

you can also set the bpm detect range in preferences for examble set it in your case 125-150 when attemtimg to analyze ~140 bpm tracks

never trust a machine! only your ears ;)

regarding 70 or 140 bpm - i decide one by one dependant on their athmosphere. more chilling? then i leave them on 70. more pushing? put it on 140.

    just my 2ct :)
