    Hi All,

Just posted a cry for help to tech support before I give up and sell my Maschine Mikro due to Maschine being tonally unstable :(

    https://support.native-instruments....install-as-last-attempt-before-selling-en-us-

Whilst I await their response I wondered if anybody knew how to totally remove all traces of NI products from a windows PC. I uninstalled machine (via Add/ Remove ) and reinstalled it only for it to remember my previous preferences and even load with the last project I used.

    Thanks - Dave.

if you are on Windows, just use appwiz.cpl and remove everything and reboot.

You may need to go into C:\ProgramData and delete NI folders.

Here you have a list for a Win 10 system.

    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources
    C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Native Instruments
    C:\Users\Name\Documents\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
    C:\Program Files\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files\Steinberg
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Native Instruments
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components
C:\ProgramData\{2CD659BC-750F-4694-B214-40A0CE94308D} *Multiple directories for each installed NI product*
    C:\ProgramData\Bome Software\Bome Virtual MIDI
    C:\ProgramData\Native Instruments

And then the NI directories where all the content is installed.
The installation path can be found in Native Access.
(I have everything installed on drive D so it doesn't help you.)
Also everything that is not deleted in the windows register must be deleted manually.

Meanwhile, we all could expect a
    de-installation button within NI-Access...

...maybe it‘s NI’s strategy: better upgrade from a demo ($$$), compared to the current de-installation process.

Thanks for the help guys... I ended up partitioning my drive and dual booting to keep work and play separate. I started this mission because of DPC latency issues. Still being plagued by them, even after reading and trying the hundreds of suggestions out there :(

I uninstalled all the bloat kontakt piano libraries (lol) cut still Berlin Grand is leaving it as showing not installed correctly and Native Access want to "repair" it I just want the thing completely removed and gone.

Is there a .lib file or somethingthat needs to be deleted and then rescan Maschine to get this fixed? On OS X myself

Mac does not use a registry.
So simple removal of the software is sufficient!

I had a similar problem with Native Access even after a reinstall, I had to do a clean install which removed everything from the drive and that worked for me. It was worth it though it works fine now and even got a slight performance boost.

    Hi man,
I'm on PC. I have the exact same issues as above, actually quite worse as i have new and old product not working as intended after updating my current Ableton to new. Struggling to sort my library's and vst's into my D: drive and have ended up butchering files etc.
I need to do a complete removal and reset of all NI products through native access, can you explain dummy terms on how i could go about this? not the most tech savvy.
    Cheers!
