Output->Add Channel (if you like to...)->Config->choose between 1 to up to 16 outputs

If you are using a host, then unfortunately, your mono output is going to be routed out on the left or right side of one of the 16 stereo outputs that are added to your host's mixer whether you wanted that or not. NO way to change this, currently)

So then you have to somehow make that mixer channel on your host, mono, unless hard left or right is your cup of tea for mono. :D

Just got my K2 update. Love what I've seen so far.

Yet this mono thing is, forgive me, stupid.

I browsed through the manual and couldn't find anything about it. It's a feature that's taken out from the older version; wouldn't it worth mentioned in the manual?

I loaded a previous Nuendo project, switched what was on K1 to K2, and then saved it as a new project, and then compared the two. In the new project, I tried to simply set the mono patches to stereo outputs, and found that my Nuendo CPU meter increased about 5%. I set them to single outputs, and then use the "Stereo Dual Panner" feature in Nuendo, the CPU meter dropped to the same as the K1 project.

If someone could explain to me why this no-mono thing is happening, I'd love to apologize to NI and take my word back. If not, please tell me that we WILL have our mono output back in the next update.
