Hi, there is some kits in the Maschine library and I would like to create my own with personal samples.

There is no option to save as kit, do I have to save it as a pattern ? how can I tag it in the library after that to recall it later ?

I've created a few kits/groups the other day,but now when I try to save another kit/group,i'm getting a message like cannot save in this folder please choose another one,but I'm trying to save them in the same folder as before..

    What causes this?

    Hi,
Yes this is a User folder, it's located in my User folder on an external hd, here's the path - Instrument Hd/G/Maschine Library/User Folder/Maschine/Groups/rnb kit

As you can see in pic 2,I get that message. The thing is I saved a few kit's there a couple of days ago with no issues, but I'm refining the kits/groups with fx etc. and need to overwrite the previous builds.

but you User Folder seems to be in your Maschine Library Folder.

that is the problem. you could have your User Folder in your Documents Folder.

the Maschine Library aslways behaves like that, to protect the supplied library from being over-written.

also the Maschine Library, is sometimes updated, and over-written with the updates. so you should never have your User Library there at all ;)
