How to fade in/out imported samples?

    Hi. If I import a sample (say a 2 minute piano riff) and want it to fade in or out, or adjust the volume/velocity of only certain parts of the sample track how would I do that?

    Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

    Hmmmm, i guess you could put the sample on oneshot, and automate the output volume of the sample. Automating the velocity wouldn't work, as it only effects the initial hit.
