How to get a Good Tone Using Rammfire?

    Hi All, I purchased Rammfire a few months ago and have had no luck at all getting a good sound from it. My DI from my Line 6 Spider Valve HD 100 into an active DI Box into my Saffire Pro 40 into PT10 sounds absolutely killer, so I dont believe I'm having guitar/DI Box problems. I have tried both active/inactive DI boxes.

    If I run the DI this route - Guitar/DI Box/Pre-Amp/PT-10/Rammfire it sounds horribly thin with no definition. If I route Guitar/Line 6 Amp/DI out to DI Box/Pre-Amp/PT-10/Rammfire and then use the clean channel on Rammfire then it sounds just a tad better, but nowhere near acceptable.

    I was hoping someone could help me out. It seems like a good product, I've heard good demos, but I just can't make it work in my studio.

    PC/Win 7/PT-10/8GB Ram 3.2GH

    Can you get a good tone using GR5 standalone outside of PT?
