I was quite annoyed when I tried all the tracks I bought on iTunes wouldn't work with my library in Traktor Pro cause they are copyright protected by apple, it took me a while but I managed it. Just download the free audio converter from www.dvdvideosoft.com And convert the tracks to mp3s and when you open up traktor 2 the tracks will start loading into track collection and then once loaded right click on track collection and click save collection. Hope this helps someone like it helped me

I've never had an issue with any of the music I've purchased from iTunes in the past but it's been a while. Traktor should be able to read them without a conversion program. Have you tried using Beatport or Junodownload to get your music (higher quality)?

More recent Itunes purchases should work directly in Traktor after installing Quicktime.

No I haven't used them yet, thanx for the tip. Yeah all the tracks I bought and synced from the ipad wouldn't read in Traktor pro 2 courtesy of apple so I had to convert them using the program, it also gets rid of the copyright problem

You HAVE to install QuickTime to play AAC files if you're running Traktor on a PC. Once you do that they'll work perfectly without any conversion which should make it lots easier for your workflow and also means you're not degrading the sound quality by decompressing and recompressing the audio from AAC to MP3

Plus it's worth knowing that any iTunes music purchased in the last 3 years don't have copy protection any more - so you can simply move the files around - even to Android devices!
