How to integrate Transport on Kontrol A49 with Cubase

I was able to download the latest version from native access. and yet I own the serie a. you should probably see the update too for (komplete 2.1)

 

Yeah, I got completely mixed up. I find the equivalent names for hardware and software very confusing. Also to refer to KK software as firmware is confusing. Firmware makes me think of "baked-in" software for (peripheral) devices. Think of the firmware for your phone as opposed to the apps on your phone.
So all my excitement led to nothing.

 

Well, now we know that version 2.1.0 does nothing as far as Cubase integration is concerned. I must say that by now I feel cheated: I have an in itself good piece of hardware with a lot of knobs that don't do a thing. NI promises but doesn't deliver.

 

... I was too optimistic here i guess...

 

... and the text here's still the same: "Die erweiterte Integration für Cubase und Nuendo folgt in Kürze in einem Update der KOMPLETE KONTROL-Software." The most suitable meaning for our german "in Kürze" is "a.s.a.p."

 

Just update to 2.1.1 re-installed Komplete Kontrol and still no transport function.
We need some action NI!

(A49, Cubase Pro 9.5, Win 10)

 

Native Instruments does not care, they we're aware of this issue with the release of the MK2, then they bring out the A Series.
STOP SUPPORTING THEM, SPEAK WITH YOUR WALLETS PEOPLE! Stop buying into their hype and false claims period!

 

Well, that's a little too late now.

 

Bumping this in sheer futility at this point hoping that someone at the company responsible for the hardware I paid for gives me some after-sales service.

This is beyond a joke.

 

And why native - why to hell do the buttons don´t work in midi mode?? Thats a joke too!!

Oops, nothing's changed.

I can understand that Native Instrumment decided to not give us the option to edit the CCs for the 8 rotary encoders in the editor, but for the love of God, at least make the transport buttons work in Cubase!

We are currently working on MCU Support which will be included in the next update to Komplete Kontrol software. We will be working on Cubase integration for A-Series keyboards (including M32) immediately after finishing MCU Support.

At last, a sign of life. I'm happy to hear this though I would appreciate some indication of when this is going to have a result.

 

And please Adil if you don't make the ccs editable then at least make the 4 pre programed pages different midi ccs. On my A49 they are the same on every page.
