i'm connecting 2x CDJ 2000 Nexus to my laptop via USB, and i'm having a hard time figuring out how the loop station works.

so far i know how to set a loop with 'IN' and 'OUT.' and the 'loop mode' button shortens the loop (by half per press).

but what if you want to lengthen the loop, or move the whole loop left or right? this can be done with the S4's loop station. is this functionality possible with the CDJ2000Nexus -- or would I have to buy something like the X1 to go along with the CDJs in order to get that functionality?

IIRC, pressing REC and the 4 Beat Loop button doubles the size of the current loop.

NEXUS don't have a 4 beat loop button

    Hi,

I'm also looking for a solution to extend the loop to 8 or 16 beats.
    Can anyone help me?

    Regards,

on Traktor it is via the "loop mode" button to create a 4 beat loop. I just wanna know how to extend it ;)

Did you try holding down REC/CALL while pressing Loop Mode?

I've re-mapped the Reverse toggle as a modifier then mapped Call/Rec to beat jump when Reverse is active.

I never really cut a manual loop so I'm thinking of changing the IN/OUT to loop length and Call/Rec to beat jump so I don't need the modifier.
