    Hi Folks
    I have recently come back to using Kore after focusing more on learning other stuff.
    So I have a couple of issues which I hope someone can put me right on.

    1, the first one is that some of my soundpacks show up under the soundpacks column on left side of software. However quite a few do not. I notice that soundpacks have been loaded into different folders etc. I am not really clear where they should be . It seems that depending on age, they load in to different places. So can anyone tell me how to get them all together in the right place for them to appear under the soundpacks column.

    2. I was trying to reload some of the packs. However I get a message that says, ' requires OSX 10.4 and later. I am on 10.11. ! so what is the problem here and what is the work round?

    Thanks for any help

    I'm on 10.11 too, but I don't have the solutions, I can only point you in a certain direction.

    1) the only soundpacks that show up for me are Compilation Vol 1 and Kore Player, probably because I didn't install the others in the regular way or something. I thought it would be enough to copy all the ksp files to Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Shared Content/SoundPacks and all the plist files to Library/Preferences. Apparently not.

    2) the installer doesn't read digits after "10.4" so the installer thinks you're on OSX 10.1. Same thing happens if you try to install Kore 2. There must be a thread somewhere that names the file inside the installer file that you need to edit. It's supposed to be as simple as open in textedit, remove the line and save.

    Yea, I have done this before I think but I cant find any thread or old emails that told me how to do this. I would be very grateful if anyone knows.
    I contacted NI and they fobbed me off, as they often do, with. Kore does not run in OS after 10.4. well that aint true. I am still using it and indeed I have soundpacks that run on 10.11
    so somehow its possible.

    Make a copy of the installer as a precaution before attempting this.

    I used Compilation Vol. 2 Installer Mac.mpkg for this example.

    1. Option Click on the .mpkg
    2. Select Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu
    3. Navigate to Contents folder
    4. Select distribution.dist - Open in TextEdit
    5. Update the values for '10.4' to whichever macOS release you are running … example:

    if(!(system.version.ProductVersion >= '10.12')) {

    my.result.title = 'Failure';

    my.result.message = 'Installation cannot proceed, as not all requirements were met. This product requires at least OSX 10.12.';

    my.result.type = 'Fatal';

    return false;

    Close the distribution.dist file you opened in TextEdit - it should save your edit automatically

    Run the Installer.
