How to make TP2 sync work like TP:

    Arghh I have this exact same problem.


    With TP1...

    Pressing SYNC would set the tempo and match the BPM for you as well as lock the grid. Toggling SYNC off and the BPM of the track would remain. Also by using pitch bend or altering the tempo SYNC would automatically disable.

    Now in TP2... when you disable SYNC the bpm goes back to what it was before, and pitch bend/tempo does not work whilst sync is locked.

    This is TERRIBLE!

    Why is it every time I go and upgrade have to rework my entire setup just to change versions? They are forever changing the way things work. I was about to order an S4 because my X1 is playing up but ffs this annoys me.

    I have mentioned the temp sync problem to NI a few times and they always answer not to use the master tempo on my turntables or cdj, and I don't even have a master tempo button on my turntable.
