    Hi Guys
Ive been using an S4mk2 for a while now, doing all kind of gigs but using my iPad running Traktor DJ. I love it very much and i know exactly what I'm doing.
This is about the fact that during your set, using Traktor DJ i can hit shift and sync, and the beat grid appears on the screen and can be adjusted using the jogwheel in a fashion that is identical to using vinyl. I hear its in time, not looking at the waves and not relying on sync to do anything other than keep it stable. I make sure its perfect. Relying on sync is not good enough. People can tell.
    So.
I am getting frustrated by not having all of my music on the iPad and having to rely on the playlist I've synced to it. Takes away the spontaneity when you simply know what you should play next and you can't.
How please please how do i use Traktor Pro on my Mac with the S4 mk2 and be able to interact with the beat grid with the jog wheels in the same way. That is DJ'ing. I can't have the situation that arises when i try using the laptop and simply can't get the timing and hats lined up using the S4 and not touching the laptop.
    Please Please Help !!!

    Hi bibeaux
I've actually sussed it after some phone conversations yesterday. There is a choice between Beat Sync or Tempo sync. Tempo sync is the solution. Then it keeps them locked to the same tempo but you can use the jog wheel to nudge it to and fro just like a record. I'm so very very glad to have worked this out!!

That sound like a very logic solution. Will try it out tonight as well, tnx!
