First of all, try reading the manuals of both the Maschine and your DAW, instead of whining about it.

Second of all Native Instruments can't hold your hand for you...they're too busy making kick-ass software.

Third of all, you can drag and drop your pattern audio into any application (including Word if you wanted to) using a new feature in 1.1 of Maschine. Watch this video...

    http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/producer/maschine/?content=1070

it's as simple as clicking the mouse once, and then dragging to your DAW's window. You may want/need to do more....and you can, but you'll have to follow the guides in the posts above.

    Good luck!

not at my music pc but i think this is how i did it.....

enable all outs on maschine (cubase 4 and 5 only i think this is..... the wee button on the instrument panel..... don't insert maschine as an instrument track..... insert maschine into vst intruments panel F11. cubase sx - sx 3 i think should already have all maschine outs enabled)

create 8 group tracks - send each out in maschine to each of the groups 1-8. now create 8 audio tracks..... route each of the group tracks to each audio track - group 1 to audio 1, group 2 to audio 2 etc. now when u arm (hit the red circle) each of the audio tracks and hit record whatever u have going to that track will record as an audio file on that track in real time

hope i got that right and i hope my explanation makes sense.... if it doesn't i'll do a pic of my cubase template and post it up so u can see how its set up

btw if u use a midi keyboard with maschine as well as the maschine controller, if u set up a midi track to maschine u can record onto that track in midi, but only from the keyboard, not from the maschine controller

here's some pics of the setup i described before if anyone is interested.... if u put the audio tracks maschine is set up to record to in a folder you can arm the folder track to record them all

here, for example, is the routing from "maschine group one" (which maschine output 1 is connected to) into the corresponding audio track

just repeat with each of the eight outputs

I want to thank everyone here for addressing my "whining" about the recording maschine in cubase:D I mean it: Thank you.
But there is one problem. It just occured to me that I might be retarded 'cause I still don't know how to do it. :)
I thought about my predicament and decided to make an offer to anyone who would be interested in the following: a small fee for helping me configuring my Cubase 5 to work with mashcine so I would be able to record Maschine sounds inreal time. And also I need to configure cubase to work with Komplete 6 and Guitar rig 4.We could do it either over the phone or via e-mail.
Since you already know that I can't figure it out by reading your posts the only way to get it done by giving me very beginner friendly instructions. I don't command perfect English but I can understand "press this button", "click on this", etc
Let me just say if somebody said: here is Pamela Anderson you can have her or learn how to record Maschine in cubase - choose one! I would pick Maschine.
    Please help!
    Thank you!
