How to record the movement of knobs to automation track...

Moving physical knobs is very nice!
I love KORE controller.

Well, I don't know how to record the movement of knobs to automation track of Logic (or ableton Live).
I tried to change the automation mode(Latch/Write/etc...) of Logic, but automation data was not recorded.
Umm. Is KORE controller's knob only for realtime playing??
Is it necessary to use an another physical controller?

You can only automate the sound's user pages (not the sounds for the individual channels). When I realized this, the automation was recorded in Live with no problems.

I can record the automation in Live.

But I still cannot record it in Logic.
Moving physical knobs is ignored, but moving graphic knobs (on the screen) is recorded.
So in Logic, it is necessary to use a mouse...
I think it is bug of kore or logic.

Same problem here. I haven't yet been able to record automation from Kore's hardware controller into Cubase SL3. Slightly annoying...

There's a couple things to remember about automation with Kore;

1) Kore will only transmit the first eight USER pages for an instrument as automation to a host, and
2) It's VST automation and NOT MIDI automation. You'll still need to arm the appropriate parameters in Cubase.

In combination with logic it's a bug in kore that will be fixed in the forthcoming update.

Automation data is recorded in Logic successfully!

I'm a bit confused... wich parameters are you talking about? Last night I tried to press the "W" button on the top plug - in panel (during turning Kore knobs), but nothing happens when later I press "R".

Hi

I had the same problem! I just found out how to do it!!!

You have to make sure that the User Page is selected on the channel menu. When the predefined pages are selected you are not able to record any automation data.
Once it is selected just press the write (W) button on the KORE automation track and everything you do on the control will be recorded.
If you need parameters from the predefined pages simply copy them to the user pages using the Page Manager!

Anyone got it to record automation in Tracktion 2? Not working for me - tried using hardware and mouse. It works fine in the DXi version in Project 5 v2 though.
