    Greetings,

I have just changed my HD and I have re-install Abbey Roads 60s. I have already installed the latest Kontakt player, however, I am not too sure what would be the best procedure to install Abbey Roads 60s.

I actually have the samples installed on a separate HD which I still have in my MacPro. Should I just click on Add Library within Kontakt Player? If so, will any subsequent updates of Abbey Roads 60s still appear on my NI service center software?

    Thanks for the advice!

Whenever you change things like this you should open Service Center and update the changes. It records paths to locations and so on. It may prompt you for some clarification. It will need to know everything is in proper order for it to do an update.

Maybe this information is relevant. I replaced my internal HD, made it an external drive and in the process I named the new main drive with something different than originally. When I opened Service Center it showed the original path and asked me to direct it to the files it could not locate any longer through the original paths. I did a migration of the installations but the drive name had changed. If you did a fresh installation you need to handle this as a 2nd installation as if you are on a different computer. Eventually it will become clear to NI what you are doing. I suppose you might be able to direct the software to the libraries but it is cleaner to have installed everything and selected a different drive for the libraries in the process. At the least you need to be able to access the libraries using Add Library. If the two drives are not connected somehow (network, Firewire, USB?) and just on a separate computer it will not work of course.
