I am trying to re-install NIHostIntegrationAgent, and so I tried uninstalling Komplete Kontrol, Controller Editor, and doing that did not remove NIHostIntegrationAgent.

So I ran the windows command "sc uninstall NIHostIntegrationAgent" which removes the WIndows Service completely. Now, no matter how many times I completely uninstall/reinstall Komplete Kontrol, Controller Editor, they won't work. I even downloaded the S88MK driver from the NI Website, uninstalled/reinstalled, to no avail.

What installer is actually responsible for installing the NI services? How can I completely remove them and reinstall them?

I think I figured it out -- I renamed the following directory to Hardware_Old

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Hardware

Then, ran the "NI Uninstall RegTool_64bit.exe" utility and selected "NIHostIntegrationAgent"

Then I ran the Komple Kontrol installer again, and that seemed to recreate the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Hardware directory and reinstall the services

NIHostIntegrationAgent is a part of the Komplete Kontrol drivers. You can uninstall it using its own entry on the Windows 10 settings. upload_2020-4-5_20-25-31.png
