I am brand new to Maschine and relatively new to Traktor Pro.

Please advise what are the correct settings in both Traktor Pro (1.2.6) and Maschine (1.5.0) software to route Maschine's audio through one of the Traktor deck. I am using a Mac Mini with 8 GB of RAM to run both applications.

I am using the sound card on the Xone:4D and using 4 CDJ-2000's to control the 4 Traktor Pro decks.

    Many thanks.

You'll need to use Soundflower or Jack.

Can't you use different NI software on the same NI device? For example Maschine > Audio8 output > RCA to Audio8 input > Traktor?

I'm unfamiliar with neither Soundflower nor Jack. Presumably they both work with Mac, correct?

As to using the Audio 8, the Xone:4d sound card is taking care of everything internally.
    ---
I've installed Soundflower and mapped Maschine's audio to utilize it. However, I could locate nothing in Traktor to desgnate receiving the Soundflower signal from Maschine.

On a related note: Maschine's MIDI preferences has a "Traktor Virtual Input" and "Traktor Virtual Output", which can be toggled on and off. It seems as though it could be an alternative to Soundflower.

Nonetheless, I still have no audio in Traktor from Maschine. I know it can be done as I've seem videos with others utilizing Maschine in this fashion, which include the steps to syncing the two together, but none have the initial configuration setup instructions.

Yeah- you could. However, the latency would probably be pretty high.
Someone else will have to help you set that up- I'm not a Mac user.
    MIDI isn't audio.

I rout in and out on my audio 8.... have a macbook... and have no probems with the latency at all...

I had experiences with soundflower that it sometimes resonates.... and that's not stable enough for performing (but it was 3 years ago)

Thanks. I am using a Xone:4d, which is TPro Certified., so I was trying to figure a way to route audio into a Deck without using an external sound card.

I don;t know too much about Allen and Heath.

I use "audio 8" for maschine and traktor.

I use output 1 and 2 for master output traktor
I use output 3 and 4 for my stage sound
I use input 5 and 6 for input to deck D (input comes from Maschine)
I use output 5 and 6 for output Maschine
I use output 7 and 8 for my headphones from Traktor.
I think something like this must be possible in

So I use only 1 soundcard

Guys. Thank you for the answers.

I just got of with NI tech support. The issue I was having is that Mac was opening Maschine in 64 bit. The Xone:4d sound card was looking for 32 bit.

Once I configured Maschine to open in 32 bit, it played through my Xone:4d without a problem. The configuration was done by single clicking on the Maschine icon located in Applications -> NI folder -> Maschine, pressing "Command I" and placing a check mark next to "Open in 32 bit".

Now I just need to sync the two to accomplish my goal.

Great video. This will help a number of users. Many thanks!

bbarios i do not Soundflower advice, you should use and high latency when using midi synk hangs easily .... I suggest you set Traktor 3 deck so:
    deck A:sc 1-2
    deck B:sc 3-4
    deck C:sc 5-6
while maschine preferences set input and output 7-8
In this way you have channels 1-2-3 for decks A-B-C of traktor and channel 4 for maschine with the quality of a Allen & Heath soundcard
    sorry for my english
