How to send a Crash Log to Tech Support

    Anyone know how to do this? In the Help for "Shop" there is an option to add attachments. But not in the tech support section. I have Maschine 2.7.10 and it crashes when in stand alone mode generating a crash log (the dialog says send crash log to NI tech support). When trying to use it as a VST Reaper reports during the Scan process that the Maschine ddl has performed an invalid action and thus it's unavailable.

    I wouldn't worry too much about sending your crash log in the first place. Simply explain the issue in your original request and if we need information such as crash log, the support agent will forward you our own tool.

    Hey Matt, thanks for the clarification. I guess that when a crash log dialogue instructs one to send the log to tech support then one will endeavour to do so :) best regards

    Yes, that's totally right and I suppose it should be changed to reflect what is now possible in our support community.

    Yeah could do, or maybe an attachment option when making posts would be good. Maybe there are other reasons that's not a good idea...

    You can actually attach files (sliding them directly) but there is a 2mb restriction on size. I guess it can always be uploaded to a drive or wetransfer if we really need heavy files.

    What do you mean by "sliding them directly" , do you mean "drag and drop" ?

    I KNOW IM GET SICK AND TIRED OF LOSING PROGRESS AND THEN A CRASH NI...Maschine is falling behind..Soon Im a move on.

    Hi there Intensity,
    I've gone back to 2.6.8 which works but I can't use my newer sound packs or FX bought after the release of 2.7.1 .Tech support did get in touch by email, sent me a tool and I replied with the tool report and crash log. Apparently they are working on it and it's just a case of waiting. My enquiry is 2 weeks old now, maybe that means they are really busy or maybe it's a difficult problem. I guess persevere for the moment, see what happens. I am concerned that the destination here might not be a solution. There are further issues, glitchy audio and the controller surface crashing/freezing after flashing all it's lights on and off. I'm going through a sequence of steps with the recommended latency tool and making some improvement albeit limited. I've had Maschine 2 for years on my studio tower with Windows 10 and the same sound card and it's been great until last year. The laptop is new and there have been lots of problems from the off. Atm I can write to with what I have working on Maschine so that's cool, but it wouldn't do gigs.

    Guys, since version 3.4 I experience too often crashes when doing some work on my collection and at the moment I close the program. It looks like saves my changes to the collection (store collection) but then crashes.
    Added crash logs with wetransfer here, since I don't know how to send to NI.

    1. When I perform Live Radio Broadcasting i have been getting the whole system freezing/crashing and I have to hold my finger on my laptop to re-boot?
    - This is very embarrassing now as it is happening every week - Last Saturday I got 3 freezes on the last lost all of my playlists !!!!!!!!

    2. Also the 'Remove Duplicates' from playlist does not work - is there a fix for this?

    3. I left my laptop over night last night analyzing my tracks, only to wake up and find the Traktor 3.4.0 had crashed again producing a crash log.

    4. Also, I cannot find out how to send you crash logs any ware on this site?

    These crashlog messages are Windows messages. If you experience crashes, please submit a request through our typeforms, depending on which application is concerned. You should get an email confirmation asking to execute our support tool, please run it and send us the resulting folder / zip. We'll get all the Windows error report and crash reports we need.
