I am having some difficulties setting up traktor pro 2. I currently have everything working fine including my 2 midi controllers (numark ndx800's) but I can not get the audio out through my mixer. I have the audio output mixer set to external but the sound only comes through my laptop.

What am I doing wrong? Is there some ASIO drivers that I need to install?

    I'm running windows 7 64 bit, service pack 1

    thanks in advance

How is the mixer connected to the laptop?

someone mentioned to me that it didnt need to be. That the audio would go back through the USB to the CDJ which of course is hooked up to the mixer. If it needs to be hooked up directly then that would be my problem.

Is the only way to hook it up to use an external sound card? Or is there another way to do it.

Yeah, I would think that's your problem right there.

ok, so if I get a audio DJ 2 and hook it up that should fix everything right?

My only other question then is will my midi controllers work if I have to buy a USB hub? My laptop only has 2 USB ports and I'll need 3 to do this (2 for midi controllers and one for the laptop) would that work fine?

A USB hub is fine as long as it has it's own power.
