Whenever I play a Massive X track, it will play fine the first one or two times, but any subsequent plays will sound filtered because the "M" in the top left between "PB" and "AT" is being lowered all the way down automatically. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Your DAW probably sends CC #1 messages from somewhere, or resets MIDI CCs on transport stop etc.

Is there somewhere in Massive X where I can change these settings? I had a similar issue with Kontakt but I was able to disable CC #1 messages being sent to it within the plugin itself. I can't seem to find any such settings in Massive X.

No this is not up to Massive X, it's about your DAW settings.

I managed to figure out the problem. Cakewalk was zeroing controllers when playback stopped.

To anyone reading this in the future, this is what I did to stop this from happening:

Preferences> Project> MIDI> Other Options> Uncheck "Zero Controllers When Play Stops"

    Yep that's exactly it!
