First of all i am sorry. I am very unintelligent and stubborn and I am not even really sure I know what I am talking about but i have been trying to tune my battery drum sounds, particularly my kicks and snares and toms. For example I want my kick to be tuned to F#. I dont really know what else to say. I not trying to make the pitch shift during the song or whatever. When I go to the editor tab and change the root note in the bottom right corner, the sound stays the same.

The Key Range setting only changes which MIDI note the cell (sound) is assigned to. So, if you set to F#2, then when you hit F#2 on your keyboard, the drum will sound. Just above that is the Tune setting - you can adjust the pitch of the drum here, by semi-tone (use shift and dial for finer adjustments)
