    Hey crew,

I just got my S4 and since I'm a wedding DJ, I need the use of 2 wireless mics. Can you guys tell me the best way / how you're using your S4 to run 2 wireless mics? Do you run them through Traktor Decks (live input?). External mixer? I still haven't figured this out.

    Thanks!

There is only one Mic input, so an external mixer may be required if your wireless base station isn't a single unit for both mics or if you don't have an RCA output for one mic.

Did you get an S4 Mk2 - as I'm a Mk1 user and not 100% clear on the changes for the Mk2. At least on the Mk1, it's not necessary to use a Luve Input channel if you don't need to EQ the Mic. The AUX channel of the S4 Mk1 has a knob on the front to let you bring the mic in and out. But f you want volume fader and EQ, the routing through a live deck is needed.

Try each method on your setup and see what works for you!

If you are using wireless mics, you should not need to use the microphone socket on the S4. The wireless base station will likely output a line-level signal, and there are two line inputs on the S4 you can route them into.

I know this is an old post, but how can you connect a wireless mic without physically connecting it to the mic out?

He probably means you can connect the base station / adapter into one of the line inputs.
Another solution is most PA systems have multi channel mixers built-in, but there's no way to control that channel using your S4.
