Just to expand on the question in the subject....

Say I was going to build a mixer section in a Reaktor synth. And I want to include an effects channels with a pop-up of available audio units on my Mac...sort of like the ProTools mixer say...

Am I missing a Macro or something? I'm not sure how to do this...

    thanks, Phil

Information about what pluggins you have installed on your system cannot be accessed/read by Reaktor. To route Reaktor's output to a pluggin, you would have to use Reaktor as an instrument pluggin within a host environment (Logic, Live, ProTools, etc) and route Reaktor's various output options to other pluggins using your host's fx/mixer setup.

My appologies if I'm not understanding your question correctly, but no pluggins of any type can be used "within" Reaktor.

That's what I was afraid of. Has this been discussed by others here? Seems like an obvious new feature candidate for a future version perhaps? I was going to build a custom mixer for some wierd techniques I use, but if I can't include Audio Unit plug-ins that sort of kills that idea.

    thanks, Phil

Having the ability to have VSTs inside Reaktor has been discussed since Reaktor 2 days.

however, you can get Soundflower for free form cycling 74

    http://www.cycling74.com/products/soundflower

also Jack OS X is free

    http://www.jackosx.com/

The of course you might be able to do this with Kore?

I was wondering this, too(Reaktor doesn't have enough FFT yet, so I want to use Vokator within Reaktor). I guess the soundflower idea is the best or else use Reaktor as a VST plug-in along with your other VST plug-ins(or AudioUnit along with your others) within some other host sequencer program and route the signals via auxiliary sends and returns.
