hubris? or a feedback hack

    Are you sure? I almost don't want to know, I just read all about things like sine... cosine, imaginary, complex, cartesian, polar, Substitution.... Real and imaginary are cartesian but can be thought of as sine and cosine, but its better to convert to polar which you can imagine as a sine and cosine spinning on the unit circle, or you can take the real and imaginary parts which are not complex and simply convert them to a regular old sine and cosine! which is different from polar and cartesian representations. Basically, many geniuses on stack exchange told about how nothing is anything else but everything is sine and cosine

    That's about where I was when I word searched your linked article for polar and got:

    A point in the complex plane can be represented by a complex number written in cartesian coordinates. Euler's formula provides a means of conversion between cartesian coordinates and polar coordinates. The polar form simplifies the mathematics when used in multiplication or powers of complex numbers.

    So im curious if they are different and why, but also unsure whether not the explanation would be totally wasted on me at this juncture
