So I bought Traktor Pro and installed it on my Dell Inspiron 1750. Now I have 2 problems:

    1. When I change my output routing (ex. Channel A left: out A left -> out A right) it can happen that the prefenceswindow blocks all the ways and than Traktor blocks too and doesn't react to anything. When I eventualy get to close Traktor there are a lot of programs who neither will do anything (Youtube doesn't work, windows media player doesn't react, even solitair is to much to ask). But if I get lucky this problem doesn't occur and my prefences are properly installed.

    2. EVERYTIME I'm doing a set in traktor after 15 or 30 minutes or so the decks suddenly stop playing. I still can click the buttons but nothing happens. Just like in the first problem there are programs not willing to do anything and it's even impossible to shut down the computer without using the on/of-button on my computer.

In the both cases there are no crashlogs made.
I hope you guys understand that this is a frustrating usseu that I would like to get solved.
(PS. I'm not a great writer in English so if you don't get anything, just ask me to make it clear)

Upgrade to latest version of Traktor.
If you are using your internal soundcard, install asio4all.
If you are using a Dell, good luck...

What's the difference between 'audio 8 asio' and 'audio 8 shared mode' ?

When using shared mode, Windows allows a program to share the sound hardware and driver for simultaneous use, mixing all the stream(s) together.. it gives poor latency and generally is a bad choice, you should go always for the ASIO drivers when possible.

post your exact version of Traktor, also the processor speed of the Dell and amount of RAM

it's also useful for you to post what operating system you have installed.

lastly, tell us what latency setting you are using for the Audio 8

    otherwise we are just guessing
