I am sampling through a T92 Stanton TT and I am using RCA (Red and White cable) from the TT to my LINE IN on my computer. When I play the record I can hear it through my speakers, but when I hit record on MAschine it says "waiting for input..." Then no waveform!

External source input configured and are you using detect to record? Samples can come from in/out of maschine and you have to select recording parameters. I'm a noob though so I could be wrong...with it waiting for input it sounds as though maschine is looking for an internal source and sync is checked...

And which audio driver do you have selected in Maschine?

And is the Line In somehow connected to the ASIO driver?

Well I actually don't think so. When I plugged in the LINE IN my Realtek HD Audio Manager popped up and recognized it as LINE IN. So I'm assuming I need to get ASIO to recognize it? Doh.

you need asio to see your line in, since you're using asio as your input, or you can not use asio as your input and just directly use your line in as the input.
