I have been an unlucky Komplete 3 owner for over 4 months now. My vendor said that NI would update my programs to 4 after I registered. Every single time I try to register my 1000+€ product the NI Service Center screen pops up for half a second and then the program closes automatically.

The NI-customer service is the worst in the history of customer services. I gave up after a few suggestions leading nowhere, including the .plist deletion and the constant reinstallations. The only good thing though is that I could (with various complications though) reset the 30-day trial. I have spent a lot of time scanning for people with similar problem but without any luck.

Here is what I have already tried:
    1) I have updated both SC and Flash plugin.
    2) I have tried deleting every trace of old Flash plugins.
    3) I have removed old Quicktime installations.
    4) I have installed and uninstalled the Komplete programs over and over again.

    My computer specs:
MacOS X 10.4.8, Dual 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4, 2 MB L3 cache per processor, 1 GB DDR SDRAM, ATI Radeon 9000 Pro card, Flash 9.0.28.0, latest SC (without any luck).

The only thing I want to do is to REGISTER MY PRODUCT so I can USE IT and GET WHAT I PAID FOR!

So - if there is someone out there who has a solution you will be my hero for the rest of the year!

I really can't provide much advice except to concentrate on getting NI Service Center (which uses Macromedia Flash) to work.

Given you can't even get the NI Service Center screen to stay up, I assume the problem is with Macromedia Flash. The NI Service Center app isn't very complicated, so I assume the problem is with Flash.

    I would suggest:
    1. Uninstall anything related to NI
    2. Try downloading and installing the NI Service Center one can get here:
    http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=freeupdates_us
    3. If during NI Service Center install, if it asks you whether you want to install Flash, say "Yes".
    4. Try running the NI Service Center even though you don't have any NI apps installed.

Assuming you can get NI Service Center running and then are starting to install Komplete 3, I would suggest ONLY installing the apps that are not part of Komplete 4 (i.e. Intakt).

I would also suggest contacting NI Sales regarding Komplete 4. Komplete 4 is sent to you as a set of DVDs, and that shipment is "triggered" by registering Komplete 3.

I'm having the same exact problem. The Service Center crashes after about 10-15 seconds and I also thought it was a flash problem and I have tried EVERYTHING. the service center works on all of my other computers except for the one that I use for my music.
