I have a strong inclination that the new MBPs are frying the Traktor x1 controllers

Ive been going mad the past 12 hours trying to debug the issue here with wtf is going on with these x1 MK2 controllers

    I have 3 traktor x1 MK2 controllers

Controller A (ive had for about 1 year)
Controller B (ive had for 2 months)
Controller C (ive had for 1 day, just purchased to test and debug the issue)

Anytime I connect the oldest controller (Controller A) into my MBP (using USB-c Chromacables from DJ tech tools), my computer gives me a warning "The device connected is using to much power. Which leads me to believe that this controller is now show.

Controller B, when I connect in... I get the initial lights that turn on, and then nothing. This controller use to work completely find up until today.

Now Controller C, brand new, I connect and works fine. The initial lights start, and then it lets me select the tracks on traktor as normal.

Before Controller A, I had another Mk2 that was giving me issues (about using too much power or whatever) which I threw out b/c of it.

I even went out and bought a brand new MBP today to seee if that was the root of the problem, but it wasn't. same ****....

    Even tried different USB cables

I've pin pointed it being a X1 hardware issue. I'm starting to think that the MBP is frying the internal circuits of these controllers which is beyond frustrating. Im about to just go back to CDJs and usb drives as they seem to be the most reliable.

Is anyone else experiencing these issue?

    Oh and one more thing.

I use a XONE 96 as my audio card. Previously both USB ports on the back of the XONE use to work. Now only one is working (usb 2)

    CONFIRMED!

This morning I plugged in the https://store.djtechtools.com/products/chroma-cables-usb-c cable from my MBP into my XONE 96. I saw smoke coming out of the USB port on the XONE 96, now both of my USB ports on the zone are fried.

this was never an issue in the past. I'm thinking of something with the new MBP Big Sur updates?

It is, more probably, HW problem with your MBP, than SW problem.

I would not test what more it fries.... Better get it repaired. Or at least get it checked.

    whats strange is

    -- > connect XONE 96 works
-- > connect 1 traktor x1 controller, turns on fine
    -- > connect 2nd traktor x1 controller (brand new) keep getting "
"USB Accessories Disabled. Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices"

Do you have everything plugged to the same electricity outlet? Grounding or some kind of problem in electricity mains path might do such things like frying.

Some buildings have electricity network in very bad state......

    Nope!

The mixer is connected to a sep outlet
MBP connected to a sep outlet

RIght USB C 1 port from MBP into USB-B male into mixer
Right USB C 2 Port from MBP into charger
LEFT USB C 1 port from MBP into USB-B male into X1 controller
LEFT USB C 2 port from MBP into USB-B male into X1 controller

That might be the problem.... It is better if everything is powered from a single point - e.g. one wall outlet.

Using two different outlets may bring problems in some cases. I have experienced 100 V difference (should be 0 V) between ground wires of two different outlets in one room. It could easily kill someone if he had bad luck.....

I never plug interconnected gear to two different wall outlets since that time....

    Tried that too

The main issue right now is why 3 controllers are giving me the "
"USB Accessories Disabled. Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices""

But 1 of them works fine.
