I have to calibrate my pedals every couple of minutes

Rig kontrol doesn't seem to want to stay calibrated. suggestions?

 

I seem to have to calibrate more often too, maybe since the 3.1 update - I'll have to track it more and post an update.

 

I've got GR3.1 and RK2 and run it with XP and Leopard. At both machines I've got the same behavior:
calibrate the pedal and until you troggle the pedal switch, the calibration is lost. This nasty bug is sence GR3.1 and I hope NI will fix it as soon as posible!

 

I will have NI look into this. I'm on the road, so I can't confirm or deny it.

 

I see that as well.
Same set up. 3.1, Leopard, RK2.

(However, I'm still rocking the demo as I seem to to always find better things to do with my $120. I'm sure my girlfriend appreciates it though.)

 

Is this standalone, as a plugin or both?
Inquiring minds want to know...

Also, I noticed that the people who have their RK versions named are using RK2. Any RK3 users seeing this?

It's RK2 for me, and it's standalone and as an AU.

Oops - sorry that should be RK3.

It started happening after the 3.1 update.

 

Same problem here. Leopard and Win XP, RK2 and GR 3.1 - both standalone and plugIn.
As soon as you use the pedal switch the calibration gets lost again.

 

this is happening for my OSX system as well. is this and RK2 problem only?

I have RK and GR3 3.1 on XP and OSX10.5

I need a fix for this I really don't want to roll back

 

It doesn't seem to be; Alan said he had it with RK3 as well.

I sent the link to this thread to the beta list after it (the thread) started, and none of us can reproduce it- more than likely due to gradual changes on our systems through different versions instead of all at once like you've gone through.

NI's looking into it- I'll keep you posted.

Hi guys,
we will fix this issue with the next update.
For the time being try to push the RK2 pedal all the way down (Kickdown pressed) during the calibration.

GR3.1+RK2=same problem

 

I have the same set up as Mrzosonp and actually got it to work again for about a week but it started acting up again yesterday : (

I don't want to seem pushy Andre as i know the NI team is looking into it but i play live with GR weekly and would like an estimate as to when the next update would be so i can roll back if i need to, thanks for understanding : )

Ok, lets try this again.

In my set-up i have a custom built pedal that i can connect expression pedals to and they are not being effected by the calibrate issue that the RK2 pedal is having. I have tried to calibrate again multiple times like Andre suggested and it still is not working properly, so like everyone else i am waiting for the update.

Can anyone from NI please give an estimate to when they think they can get this update out? I don't think it's an unreasonable question and i'm sorry if it comes across that way but i just feel like the question was ignored the first time and a lot of people are waiting for this response, thanks.
