I know it's been discussed 100 times and YES I have used the search function and have seen the threads but there still seems to be no SOLID answer. Why is it when I post on Numarks Facebook or forums they ACTUALLY reply with answers from Numark themselves. NI never likes to give a solid answer! Ahhh! I just wanna know if it's EVER going to be supported. Serato sucks compared to the high end software of Trakor Pro and I would love to be able to use my digital spinning platters with it. Please just give us something as there are so many people awaiting this answer. This goes for the V7 as well.

NI never stated something officially. They know about all the people wanting it though.

    PMed you.

from what my sources say... its not going to happen...

certain NDA's have been signed on the behalf of certain companies, and im getting about 60% of the story, but my friends from numark tell me its in traktors court...

at the same time, the V7 will be on a heavy back order as numark isnt making as many as they used to. TBH, its on its way out, and not to many units still get supported after being discontinued.

on it's way out or not it is a great unit. it has workrd flawlessly for me. the only problem is software issues serato (supposedly the best) is glitchy. i seperated my v7's, now one deck has a laptop running serato itch(glitch), the other deck has a laptop running virtual dj 7.05. the funny thing is i think the v7 works with alot less issues on vdj than on itch. might just go get a pioneer ddj t1 and call it a day.... lol :D

i was one of the first people to but traktor in atlanta many years ago. i stopped using it then because it was a lil unstable and i got tired of having to buy updates. i have been following traktor since and have tried it several times since. a friend of mine got the s4 and it is badddd as f**k when it works right. jogs a a bit small for my taste but it is nice over all

Hello, we provided all the supporting documentation to Native Instruments.
The mapping is about 90% complete however work is required by Native in traktor to fully support motorized products. We are hopeful they will fit this in to future updates.

I think someone showed a while ago how you could just use Itch to play the Traktor timecode records and use TSP on top of that. Only works if you have TSP though but it makes sense.

So today I bought a Traktor Audio 6 hoping to be able to use my NS7 with it via timecode. I am totally lost. Now, even when Itch isn't open, if I click play in Traktor Scratch on deck a, it spins the platter on my NS7 but I can't control it. Same with deck b. Anyway, I also read you can't do it with the NS7 because it doesn't have the correct "in's and outs" on it to connect to the audio 6. Any help would be great! I already have the timecode inside of itch but I'm just not getting an response. I'm ready to sell these and buy some SL12's!

Edit: I just noticed if I change the pitch in traktor it also changes it on the NS7 (the 0% light turns off) and the looper in traktor triggers the lights on the looper on the NS7, interesting....and this is also without it even being connected to the audio 6! It's weirdddd

Well, never mind. Got tired of knowing I'd never be able to use Traktor with the NS7 so I got some SL12's and a Pioneer mixer, can't wait to pull my Kontrol X1's back out and get back to the Native Instrument side of things!

looks like NI suffers from the same lameness as Serato. I thought NI would have more intuitive solutions for syncing their software up with itch hardware being that their Midi mapping track record is superior to Serato...still no answers for this NS7 lover... I'm ready to sell this ****
