I want to record effects through Guitar Combos using my Behringer UCG102.

I can only record a clean sound so far, and have tried everything. Any solution would be highly appreciated.

The combos that ships with your guitar is not really capable of recording with effects because it's not a plug-in.

If you're on a Mac, you could use "Wiretap" to steal the output stream.

Well.. I've got the same problem, i bought this guitar link UCG102, with guitar combos. Honestly I was really impress by all those amps and all. When i tried to record with a Fatstrat amp, i recorded it. I listened to my record on my headphones it was all good. When i save it in my computer in .wav it came out a clean sound. How could i change it to my fatstrat sound? Because on the Behringer website it says " The UCG102 guitar-to-USB interface lets you jam and record using modeling amps and effects without the need for any other gear but your guitar. " So it should work.... But it's not... I really want to know how to fix it plz

It's not a plug-in, so what you hear on your headphones is what you get. If it was a plug-in, you'd be able to play it in a host program, like Cubase or Pro Tools, and be able to record the clean tracks, and then bounce the Guitar Rig tracks.

The full version of does not have this limitation, and there is a special price if you'd like to upgrade.

If you can find a Windows-based program that does was "Wiretap" does for the Macintosh (it records your system audio), then you could get around it, but there's nothing like having a good DAW/Host program to record, and edit your guitar tracks in.
