Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!

I've just installed my Battery 3 update and all the standard kits seem to load up fine. However, when I installed the updated kits from the website (like, Kore Sound, etc.) I ended up having more kits, but there doesn't seem to be any samples to go with them. For example, I tried to load up a Synthetic Kit called Ambient (or something to that effect) and none of the samples were anywhere to be found on my hard drive. Am I missing something here? Well, I'm sure there's a good explanation for all of this, right? Thanks for your help in advance.

Strange, somehow I find that comforting! Let's hope they can locate these missing samples. Now for something completely different, check out my newest post about Battery taking over my sequencer!

Thanks for your reply. No, these seem to be directly related to the website downloads that are called "updates." I wish they were on the DVD. In fact, I went back to check to see if I'm missing anything and just to be sure, I reinstalled both discs. Oh well, it was a good try, thanks.

If you are talking about the updates for 'synthetic drums 1&2' they are not part of the battery 3 user library. they are Native instruments sample cds that can be purchased in the shop. They ship optimised for Battery 2.

OK, thanks, that explains it then.

It may also be how the sounds were installed. I did the regular installation and for some reason one set of kits (#7 I think) was put into another folder than the rest of the kits. So when the program looks for those samples and doesn't see them, you get that message.

If you move that folder of kits to where the rest are, you can avoid that problem.

I had the same thing happen too. I had to manually copy the files over.
    Cheers,
