I am relatively new to instrument building in reaktor and during an attempt to build a usable limiter macro for a synth i have made, i came to realise that i have huge gaps in my knowledge of the mathematical principals that can be applied when using reaktor.

are there any books or web resources that you guys could recomend that would help me brush up on my math. i have to say my knowledge is very poor (i spent too much time playing guitar instead of doing my home work)

    cheers in advance :)

I do not see how Jaweiss's reply answers any aspect of that question, but I'm very interested in this same issue.

The key word here is mathmatical, not tutorial.

i have read the leviathan tutorial, i dont have any problems with synth architecture, it was the tutorial about event logic that was lost on me, simply because i dont have the background mathematical knowledge; there are alot of terms in there that i dont understand, hence the need for some general study to get myself up to speed.

Perhaps you could just try asking specific questions here. If its too much for us to answer, we'll at least know what you need to learn, and can direct you to books/websites accordingly.

Or quote the passages that are unclear to you and we'll try to help you.
