i want a vini reilly guitar sound

    i really want to try to re create the sound that vini reilly gets on the durutti column
    records...can anyone help...i'm currently running guitar rig 2.0 through cakewalk guitar tracks pro3.

    I can't help you much but when I saw Durutti Column back in the day the venerable Space Echo was much in use. I know that Vini didn't at first care for that clean sound that Martin Hannet gave him and I think that Hannet thing has a lot to do with it. Less is More. Also Vini's technique is fantastic. I have a friend who is skilled in the style of R.L. Burnside and I can see a lot of Vini in his stuff. Good luck in a worthwhile task.
