Instead of using Traktor's internal limiter, I really want to have my Traktor output going though a AU/VST compressor. I thought maybe using Soundflower and Rax to do this would work...hopefully it wouldn't introduce too much latency that beatmatching would become difficult. Has nyone else tried something like this?

    I'm using a mac BTW.

As you are no doubt aware Traktor has no native ability to support this but I think soundflower will work to route sound. I'm not aware of anyone reporting they have done this so you are our guinea pig.... er I mean, trailblazer here.

Give it a try let us know how you get on. You would have to use the internal mixer BTW.

Use Audio Hijack Pro ( http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/ ). This is a great program which goes between Traktor and you outputs and allows you to add audio units and VST effects/instruments as well as record music on the fly (great for sampling). I use it all the time and highly recommend it. Other option is using something like Abelton Live and routing sound through various compressors/limiters but I find Audio Hijack Pro to be less resource intensive.
