i want to transfer a track from i phone 5 to traktor while at gig

    You could probably sync iPhone to iTunes then import the track from iTunes but you might have problems with audio dropout while you're doing the sync cos it's heavy on USB bandwidth.

    Is this to get a track you downloaded to the iPhone at the gig into Traktor? If so might be best to download the track directly to the PC/Mac using iTunes then import to Traktor in the usual way

    I have done this many times, although I try not to make a habit of it. You simply need to sync your phone to Itunes and then refresh the itunes node in Traktor to get the track to show up. Not difficult at all and doesnt even cause a blip on my cpu meter.
