    Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a used KORE1 controller. It seems that alot of folks are giving up on thiers. Which is a shame. I think it's a great unit that just needs some time to come together.

If anybody wants to sell thiers, PM me on the board here and let's talk it out.

I might eventually be in that market, but I am hoping for a Kore 2 & Kore 1 hardware swap. THe controller is great, but I do not need the audio inputs, and would prefer ot have a smaller lighter (2nd gen) control.

If the Kore2/1 swap doesn't work for me, I'll get back to you for sure :)

    Sounds Great.
    Another man's...

Maybe my brain is fuzzy, but I can't seem to remember if there is a deadline to the free Upgrade to KORE2?

    Anybody know off the top?

well. none of us get kore1 hardware to kore2 hardware upgrades for free.

but I think Apr1st is when you get a free upgrade from kore1 software to kore2 software.

Also, one other caveat is that I'm gonna make sure the kore2 hardware units work before trading as well :)

I might do it. It's a week new and I still have everything it came with. i can't take it back because I regged the software. If you want it make me an offer. What I'm really interested in is another audio interface. So a trade would do as well if it were a descent offer. I guess as far as getting the new kore update, just wait till I update to kore 2 when it comes out and then transfer registration.

Thing is, you can't update to 2 from 1, and then sell your kore 1 controller with the kore 1 software software... unless the kore 1 software isn't tied into the upgrade to version 2...

Does anyone have clarification on this, whether getting the kore 2 upgrade leaves the kore 1 license separate?

So winter is on his way to town, touring has been put away for the summer, and I'll need something to do!

    Kore may be the answer.

So I'm back in the market, let me know if you want to unload yours for cheap. Or if you hate it as much as you claim, ship it on over to me!

Any Kore 2 Upgrade/update (i.e. not buying Kore 2 at full retail) would link the original Kore 1 software license to the Kore 2 license. You could sell the Kore 1 controller but not the Kore 1 software license.
