TRAKTOR ich brauche hilfe bei der track-auswahl fuer "spezielle" crowd...

hallo ihr lieben,

der verein, fuer den ich regelmaessig dj workshops mache und der u.a. vom berliner senat gefoerdert wird, soll nun fuer ebendiesen eine "party" beschallen, sprich: ICH soll auflegen fuer ne horde von politikern und dergleichen. es soll schon eine tanzveranstaltung werden, keine hintergrundbeschallung also, aber es soll fuer jeden was dabei sein.

ich gehe davon aus, dass die herrschaften eher im "besten alter" sind und keinen wahnsinnig ausgefeilten musikgeschmack haben, aber was sollte ich unbedingt mitnehmen?

ich hab ein paar 60s oldies und nen 80s pop set geht auch klar, aber was ist mit der paartanz-fraktion? brauche ich james last oder sowas?

Oh, oh, oh. Bin zwar nicht der Wedding DJ, aber ich würde mir auf jeden Fall was aus der Richtung Motown, Rock-N-Roll und Disco Klassiker einstecken.

Erstaunlicherweise kann man auch gut (zumindest auf Berliner Gartenfesten)
DJ Deekline & EdSolo - "Postman Pat" oder "Shake It" spielen (Oldie vs. Breakbeat)
Eine gute Hilfe ist auch Mobile Beat dot com und da mal die TOP 200 durchforsten.

 

...mag jetzt albern klingen, aber leg doch das auf, was du auch in den Workshops vermittelst bzw. auch in anderen Workshops vom Verein. Vielleicht auch mal zwei, drei "Schüler" ranlassen (an die TTs, nicht an dir, hihi).

Das hat natürlich den Charme, dass die Verantwortlichen auch sehen, wohin das Geld geht und was daraus wachsen kann.

Nur eine Idee, ansonsten: Schlager geht immer! :lol:

so ein Zufall, ich wohne in Wedding (aber nicht mehr lange)

So, jetzt zu deinem Anliegen: Ich habe ursprünglich als Party- & Ü30-DJ angefangen und arbeite heute noch allround. Ich hoffe, die paar Tipps helfen dir.

1. Deutsche Schlager gehen eigentlich immer, das wurde ja schon gesagt. (z.B. Andrea Berg, CORA (Amsterdam, wichtig!), IBO (Schwarze Rose), Drews (Ich bau dir ein Schloss), Michael Wendler (Sie liebt den DJ, :-(), Olaf Henning (Cowboy und Indianer), Michelle (Hitmix), Reim (verdammt ich lieb dich), Pur (Hitmix), Höhner (Viva Colonia), Puhdys etc.

2. Aus den Rock/Pop-80ern dürfen, meiner Meinung nicht fehlen: Alphaville, Tina Turner, Laura Brannigan, Dirty Dancing, Toto, Bryan Adams, AC/DC.

3. Es gibt ja immer so einige "Spezialisten", die "richtigen" Rock hören wollen. Daher nimm ruhig ZZ-Top mit

4. Wenn du noch mehr Hilfe brauchst, kannst mir auch gerne schreiben.

Zu den Spieltipps (? ) 75 % davon kannst du in die Tonne kloppen, ist was für Bauernveranstaltungen aber nicht für ne Party mit Politikern und ähnlichem Volk!

Halt ich für Schwachsinn.. Ich habe auch als Wedding DJ angefangen mit nem Freund von meinem Vater zusammen (bin selbst 19) der hatte das musikalische Know How für die Altersklasse da hab ich viel gelernt und eines davon ist: Die meisten Leute gehen auf Sachen ab von denen man es echt net Denken würde.
Zum Paartanz/Disco Fox: Love is in the Air dann ein Stern und sie liebt den DJ und die Tanzfläche war (zumindest meistens) immer voll. Zu späterer Stunde kannste auch mal so dinger wie Westernhagen - Pfefferminz spielen und sowas probier einfach am anfang nen paar Stilrichtungen durch biste die getroffen hast die die Leute hören wollen. Am Anfang ist das bei solchen Veranstaltungen normal das du dich an das Clientel erstmal rantasten musst, ist zumindest meine Ansicht.

 

Genau so .. rantasten .. fühlen .. fragen .. Wunschzettelchen austeilen und die Leute sind glücklich vor allem bei einer Crowd die eigentlich nur zu Fressen und Saufen da ist und nicht wegen dem aktuellsten Schießmichwegsoud
