ID3 Tagging in AIFF

    I have about 1,000 songs loaded in traktor. All of my songs are purchased from beatport. I loaded some new songs into itunes deleted the "purchasd from beatport" so I could add the key in the coments. I put it in traktor and the purchased from beatport still shows up in the comments not the key. All my other songs I thought I did the same thing but obviousy not. What do I need to do to get it to go away and show the key?

    no ID3 in AIFF.

    AIFF is a pretty poor choice of format imo. if you want lossless, go for FLAC or ALAC instead.

    Did you try to do "Check Consistency" (from the right mouse button menu?).
    This will rescan the track and (maybe) see the new tag again.

    You can insert ID3v2 tag into AIFF files!
    That's what iTunes does, and several other programs.

    i'm no expert in aiff / traktor relation, but from the link you've shared, there's that line that maybe has the answer...

    hypothesis: maybe that traktor does not expect to find ID3 in aiff files, so it simply does not look for it.

    dont have both applications open at the same time. open traktor after closing itunes.
