ideas on this problem ?

Channel A at home gets no sound.

when i plug my vinyls into the mixer directly both channels produce sound.

both cables produce sound when plugged into channel B so it cant be the cables ?

when i test my audio 8 sound card at my friends house with my laptop channel A works. so this eliminates the a software problem?

have tried more then one set of speakers at home both rnt producing sound from channel A.

if its the needles or stylus iv cant even get sound just pressing the play button!

its really frustrating works at my friends house but not at mine!

What setup are you using? Timecodes? How do you have your audio routed, internal or external mixing mode?

We need more details man!

 

Check ur output Routing and switch into external Mixer Mode

There is something kinky in the cables, man, do you use the multicores? Everything in the screen shots looks fine (except your needle needs cleaning/replacement )
Oh, when you look at the Audio 8 DJ, does the output 1&2 leds are lighting up when you play something in deck A?

 

so u reckon just get some fresh new cables?

in channel A number 2 in the out doesnt light up.

 

Can you make this : plug your left turntable to the ins of the channels 1 and 2 directly, and use some regular RCA cable from the channels 1 and 2 out to the mixer? You did not respond to my question of the multicore cables.

 

could be a simple cabling error.
