I open up an 808 in the sampler, I Change the polyphony to 1 (cut itself), and I trigger the sample multiple times.

If it's completely unaffected and not clipping within the sampler, why does Its initial peak range from -0.1 dB all the way to 1.9 dB when I repeatedly trigger it? And why does it's very first transient (its initial clicky/kick around 1000hz) sound DIFFERENT EVERY TIME THE SAMPLE IS TRIGGERED? THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE

This means that for EVERY SAMPLE that gets triggered FOR EVERY PROJECT that uses SAMPLER ON MULTIPLE TRACKS THERE ARE AVOIDABLE AUDIO ERRORS. Even with default parameters for all settings in the sampler!

And like dude... how do you not use the sampler?

I figured I would find a visual reference to prove it. I opened up 'free clip' by venn audio to visualize me triggering this 808

If you look closely, you can see that each initial transient IS different each time each 808 is triggered. I figured - hey this might be an issue with free clip's display. Regardless the proof is in the pudding. It sounded different.

But still, I decided to open 'Shaperbox 2' anyway for further visual conformation. I, unfortunately, can't post a video but it showed me very clearly that the very first 0.1 ms of the sample, every time it was triggered, the transient was clearly a little different.

So this initial transient. THE VERY FIRST THING PEOPLE HEAR is getting f*****d up somewhere in the process. Lowkey, people whove been using maschine for a long time and are concerned with getting their kicks to slap. Or people who do sound design. Yall already know about this.

My problem is that I've been making trap beats in maschine for a long time. Lots of need for very consistent hi-hats, snares kicks etc.

This right here is my main issue. It has to do with the sampler. I don't know what it is. I don't know if this is a feature request. But this is one of a few issues I have with the sampler which I have a very hard time articulating. I just dont know what it is... I just hope we can get control over this in the future. Figured it was worth posting because like dude... Can you imagine how many instances of sampler have ever been opened by all Maschine users where the polyphony is set to 1?

    That's a lot of F****d up transients...
